Chairman Message

Message from the New Chairman Peder Hagber-

at the Annual Meeting:

It's an honor and a privilege to serve as the next Chairman of this great Chamber of Commerce with an 80 year track record, over 650 active members representing thousands of employees, a phenomenal staff, an exceptional Board of Directors and dedicated committee members, EMACC sets the standard for successful business organizations.

Thanks to the leadership and guidance of Chairman Chris Ruisi and the other outgoing Board Members, EMACC is on course for another fantastic year in 2008. We congratulate and welcome new Board Members as we plan to build on our successes from 2007. Members can look forward to a full slate of networking and business growth events, and benefit from the outstanding marketing support and referral services that Lynda and the EMACC staff offers to all members.

2008 marks the 80th Anniversary of EMACC and to commemorate this milestone our goal is to grow membership to 800. We are well on our way already this year so continue to stay active, reach out, and take advantage of all the privileges of membership.

On behalf of all of us on the staff and the board of EMACC, we thank you, our members, for all our successes - past, present and future.
