Committee Overviews
Small Business Council
- Meets monthly, usually first Tuesday mornings at 8:00-9:00 AM
- Attendance at Breakfast Seminars required
- Identifies topics of interest and secures speakers for our monthly SBC breakfast meetings
Annual Business Expo Task Force
- Meets monthly 6-7 months prior to event in April.
- Helps plan and coordinate annual trade show.
- Marketing/event management skills a plus!
Business After Hours
- Meets bi-monthly, afternoons at 4:00 -5:00 PM.
- Attendance at "After Hours" events required.
- Assists in planning and coordination of "after hours" networking events including signature events.
Communications Committee
- Meets monthly usually fourth Wednesday mornings at 8:30-9:30.
- Manages marketing, public relations and all major chamber publications and communications.
- Marketing, publishing, I.T. or design experience a plus!
Ambassador Club
- Meets monthly, afternoons at 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
- Attendance at networking events required.
- Welcomes new members by phone, greets them at functions and makes member-to-member introductions.
- Assists in follow-up calls to interested prospects, inactive members or new businesses in the area.
- A great way to make new contacts!
Special Events Task Force
- Meetings a Needed
- Helps plan and coordinate creative special events such as sports outings, auctions, etc.
- Party planning and marketing a plus!
Spinnaker Awards Task Force
- Meets monthly from April-November
- Assists in the winners selection process, event promotion, guest and budget management and production of ad journal calendar.
