Credit Union Works “Hand-in-Hand” with Community to Benefit United Way

Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union is collecting donations of new gloves, mittens, hats and scarves, and in turn will match each donation and forward all new items to the United Ways of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

“Mon-Oc is working with our members and the community to keep those less fortunate warm during the upcoming cold winter months,” states Mon-Oc’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Issa E. Stephan.

New gloves, mittens, hats and scarves will be collected at all six Mon-Oc branch locations in Barnegat, Freehold, Howell, Middletown, Neptune, and Toms River until February 28th. Donations will then be forwarded to the United Ways of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Mon-Oc, with more than $174 million in assets, serves the financial needs of more than 31,000 members in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas. Membership to Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union is available to all persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
