Advocacy Committee
Pays attention to local, state, and national legislation that affects local businesses.
Keeps the membership informed about big legislative changes that may affect their businesses.
Business After Hours Committee
Meets monthly, (typically the first Wednesday of the month) 4:00-5:00 PM.
Attendance at “After Hours” events required.
Assists in the planning and coordination of “After Hours” networking events including annual beach party and annual holiday party & gift drive.

Meets monthly (typically the first Wednesday of the month) 8:00-9:00 AM
Attendance at Breakfast Seminars required.
Identifies topics of interest and helps secure speakers and sponsors for our monthly BNB breakfast seminars.

eng! – EMACC’s Next Generation Committee
The eng! EMACC’s Next Generation is a committee of young professional leaders in the business community. The purpose of the committee is to network with other young professionals in the area, including those young at heart with a purpose of serving the community. The after-hours networking events will strive to benefit a nonprofit or community service EMACC member.

Health & Wellness Committee
The EMACC Health & Wellness Committee has been formed to help promote EMACC members that are either actively engaged in the business of health and wellness or provide services to such businesses. The Committee meets bi-monthly.

Marketing Committee
Meets Bi-Monthly, (typically the second and fourth Friday) 9:00-10:00 AM.
Attendance at events required.
Planning ways to market the chamber and identify the value added for membership. Work on a campaign for New memeber recruitment and existing member retention. Identify and implement creative ways to reach new and changing business markets, professions and ways of doing business.

Reaches out to new businesses and non-members to work to increase the membership of the chamber.

Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee meets in the fall in preparation for the annual meeting in January, however, can be called to meet as needed. The Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating future EMACC Board Members as positions open.

Signature Annual Golf Outing Committee
The Signature Annual Golf Outing (previously named Nine & Dine) meets monthly beginning in June through the time of the event. The Committee meets with the sole purpose of planning, designing, and executing the 9 hole, 3 club, whacky putter scramble golf outing in September. The Committee works on securing sponsors and attendees to ensure the success of the event.

Spinnaker Committee
The Spinnaker Committee meets monthly beginning in August up through the time of the Spinnaker Awards in January. The Spinnaker Committee work with the Nominating Committee to decide nominees and winners in nine different categories. Spinnaker Award Categories are as follows: Arts and Culture Award; Community Service Award; Corporate Good Neighbor; 50 or More Years Serving Monmouth County; Non-Profit Organization of the Year; Public Service Award; Volunteer of the Year; and the newest category, EMACC’s Next Generation Leader. The Spinnaker Committee helps in the planning, design, and execution of the awards ceremony, which is held the last Wednesday of January. The co-chairs of the committee will help emcee the event and give out the awards. Spinnaker is Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce’s largest yearly event and is attended by hundreds of local business owners and Monmouth County public officials and dignitaries.

Women in Business Committee
Women In Business Committee promotes the empowerment of women by putting their businesses first! Giving women the opportunity to network with each other in an environment that supports this goal creates relationships and ultimately helps to achieve success. Meetings are held monthly. Events are held quarterly.
